Brad Savage is a lifelong music fan and radio geek, living his dream of crafting an intelligent, musically-challenging radio station in a great music city! Growing up in the Twin Cities, home to great radio stations, gave Brad a "calling" at an early age. While his radio adventure has taken him on a whirlwind tour of college town areas (Minneapolis, MN; Columbia, MO; Madison, WI; Ann Arbor, MI), today he feels well settled in Charlottesville and loves the history, music, and warmer climate. Brad says the best part of being in C-Ville is the rare opportunity to speak one-on-one with touring artists in the Corner Lounge, while hoping he doesn’t ask stupid questions or say “awesome” too often during the interviews. His all time favorite bands include The Replacements, Material Issue, R.E.M., The Ramones, Garbage, Possum Dixon, The Pooh Sticks, and three thousand more. "High Fidelity", "The Blues Brothers", "Floundering", "FM", and "Groove" are among his favorite movies. When he's not on-air, online, or playing on Facebook, he is probably at a record store adding more CD's to his collection which numbers in the thousands.
Find Brad on Facebook, here! And on Twitter, here! The truth about "Social Networking" is found here!
Brad features daily sports segments with Jay James and Michael Bisceglia, at 7:30am and 8:30am weekdays. Find Mike Bisceglia's Food-and-Sports blog here!
