Jaclyn grew up in Burlington, NC and graduated from UNC-Wilmington. She caught that travel bug, and backpacked Europe and South Africa. After returning to Wilmington, she decided she wasn't done yet, moved to Ireland to work in a pub in Dublin for a while, then headed back to Spain and Portugal. After going back to the beach in Wilmington, she wrote a weekly music column for the Wilmington paper, got a job as a DJ for a station called 106.7 The Penguin, and even served as a DJ for Radio Bonnaroo. Now living in beautiful Charlottesville, VA she works for 106.1 The Corner at night, and as a news reporter for NewsRadio 1070 WINA and Progressive Talk 1450 WVAX by day. But she still tucks away money in the travel fund; only now it’s a coin jar that also functions as coffee money, parking meter change, gotta-have-that-new-album money, and so on....
