Brighten the Corners

Videos of the day – week of 6/3

6/3 – a funny start to the week with this Mumford spoof by The Key of Awesome!

6/4 – see how many indie rock all-stars you can spot in the new Vampire Weekend video!  I spy Chromeo, Santigold, the singers for The Walkmen & Dirty Projectors, Sky Ferreira…not sure who the masked man is, though!?

6/5 – another funky new slab of goodness from Prince & his new band, or is it 3RDEyeGirl who just happen to have Prince as their frontman?  As usual with Prince, it’s all way more confusing than it needs to be, but hey, just enjoy “Fixurlifeup” for now I suppose…

6/6 – there’s a new Nine Inch Nails song in the world today!  We’re playing it on the Workday Wrap Up at 6pm tonight, and you can hear the reel-to-reel version here…maybe being part of Dave Grohl’s Sound City documentary inspired this “video,” ha!

6/7 – we’ve been really digging the new band Houndmouth & are looking forward to seeing them at Bonnaroo next week!  Here’s their video for “On The Road”
