ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE SCOTTSVILLE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF RIVER RESCUE EQUIPMENT AND TRAINING.

DMB 25th Anniversary Hometown Show to Benefit Charlottesville Community Charities

Dave Matthews Band will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a special hometown benefit concert at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA on Saturday, May 7. To express its gratitude for the incredible support the community has provided from the beginning, the band will donate all net proceeds from the concert, totaling over $1 million, to charitable programs in the Charlottesville area via its Bama Works Fund.

 Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 1, at 10 AM ET.

Friday’s After Five – Free Summer Concert Series

at nTelos Wireless Pavilion

In its 29th season, Fridays After Five, presented by Bud Light, continues to be Charlottesville’s favorite live concert series on the Virginia Credit Union stage.  The first concert will kick off at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion on the Downtown Mall April 15th, from 5:30pm -8:30pm, and each Friday thereafter ending on September 9th.

Each week volunteers work the concessions on behalf of a variety of local non-profits who share in the proceeds, which raises tens of thousands of dollars to support their work in our community. The spring and summer schedule features local artists of myriad musical styles; there is something for everyone! Unwind Friday evenings at this fabulous and FREE Charlottesville institution.

Short lines, best craft beer and cider selection in VA. A great mix of 40+ taps of local and national. Presented by Three Notch’d Brewing Company and Bold Rock Hard Cider . The Judy Chops will bring the musical party! Local food trucks and beer related vendors. Gaming area with giant jenga, cornhole, and frogger! Plenty of event tents to keep you shaded or dry. Event is 2-7pm with VIP entry at 1pm. Tickets going fast. Our last two events sold out. A portion of proceeds support Red Shoe Cville .
