Local Snow Day Viral Video + win/lose/lost songs/albums

With my wife being a middle school teacher, this locally-made YouTube video that has gone viral (8000 views and counting) really made her weekend in the wake of 2 straight snow days + a late start today! Fun & hilarious! Good job, kids!

Did you catch the Maroon 5 vs. Train, John Mayer & Jason Mraz “barfight” sketch on SNL over the weekend? Apparently (ironically) due to song publishing issues, it’s not on Hulu, but here’s a version on YouTube (while it lasts)…sounds like Mayer & Train approve (not sure about Mraz, lol)!

A new song from They Might Be Giants tonight at 6pm called “Lost My Mind” to start the Workday Wrap Up…how about a win/lose/lost theme for your song titles or maybe album names? We’ll also have a pair of tix to give away for the sold-out Walk The Moon show at the Jefferson! Listen between 6 & 7pm to win…

Every Weekday at 6pm, we do a request hour with a different theme, started by the New Song of the Day. Here’s what actually got played among the requests tonight…

Workday Wrap Up 1/28/13 (Win/Lose/Lost theme)

Lost My Mind – They Might Be Giants
Losing My Religion (acoustic) – R.E.M.
Loser – Beck

Must Of Got Lost – J. Geils Band
Lost! – Coldplay
(I Know) I’m Losing You – The Temptations
Hate To Lose Your Lovin’ – Little Feat
Every 1’s a Winner – Hot Chocolate

Lost Mi Love – Yellowman
Win, Lose or Draw – Allman Brothers
Don’t Ever Wanna Lose Ya – New England
The Winner Takes It All – Abba
