new U2 album poll and James/Jim Workday Wrap Up theme

Played a Joshua Tree-era song a little after 5pm tonight, and checked on the status of the (up to) 3 new U2 albums that have been rumored to be coming out either later this year or next…or something.  Then again, they’ve kinda been saying similar things for a while…What do U2 fans think about this prospect?  They don’t put much stock in what their beloved band members have to say, apparently…!

Every Weekday at 6pm, we do a request hour with a different theme, started by the New Song of the Day.  Here’s what actually got played among the requests tonight…

Workday Wrap Up 3/7/13 (Jim/Jimmy/James theme)

Jim James, Daniel M. Moore & Ben Sollee – Where To Begin (Corner Lounge version)

James Gang – Funk #49

James Morrison – You Give Me Something

James – Say Something

Jimi Hendrix – Somewhere

Beastie Boys – Jimmy James

Iggy & The Stooges – Search & Destroy  Iggy’s real name is James Osterberg!

Led Zeppelin – Rock and Roll (Jimmy Page)
