The State Board of Elections on Wednesday has a new policy that rejects any form of a photo ID that expired more than 12 months before Election Day. It approved the new provision Wednesday. Harrisonburg Republican State Senator Mark Obenshain says some Democrats, including Attorney General Mark Herring, want to undermine the photo ID law. Obenshain was a Wednesday guest on the Schilling Show. The Virginia ACLU has blasted the latest interpretation by the Board of Elections. An ACLU spokeswoman says her organization is getting calls from voters who complain the law is very confusing.
