Financial Boost For Barrett Early Learning Center

A big financial boost to keep the Barrett Early Learning Center in operation. The oldest continuously running daycare center in Virginia has received a big gift. Barrett is the recipient of $65,000 from this year’s proceeds from the Charlottesville Ten Miler. Organizers of the race presented the check Tuesday to the center’s administrators at the facility on Ridge Street (pictured).
