Free Enterprise Forum Fights Proposal Involving Fry’s Spring

The Free Enterprise Forum, which goes to bat for area businesses, is not happy about a proposal that’s floating around City Hall. Forum President Neil Williamson (pictured) says some Fry’s Spring residents want to see new zoning designations on Stribling Avenue, Shamrock Road and Crestmont Avenue. Williamson views this proposal as a downzoning that has the potential to trample property owners’ rights. He notes City Attorney Craig Brown has voiced reservations about the proposal.
