The campaign pace is accelerating as next month’s GOP convention in Roanoke gets closer. Most political observers believe Ed Gillespie (pictured center) is the front-runner for the Republicans’ U.S. Senate nomination. Gillespie was a Monday guest on the Schilling Show. He’s a former chairman of the Republican National Committee. Gillespie has three rivals for the Senate nomination. The incumbent is freshman Democrat Mark Warner.
