Huja Re-elected Mayor

Satyendra Huja will continue as the city’s Mayor for the next two years. His fellow councilors chose Huja (pictured left) during their first meeting of the year. Dede Smith is the city’s new Vice-Mayor. Kristin Szakos (pictured right)¬†held the number two spot before the Monday night meeting, and many Democrats expected her to get the mayor’s gavel this time. Szakos abstained while the other four councilors voted for Huja.
