News Organizations Outside Virginia Note Larry Sabato Day

Following a declaration from Governor McAulliffe, Saturday was Larry Sabato Day across Virginia.  With the spring semester drawing to a close, the University of Virginia professor is wrapping up 36 years teaching a large lecture class to undergrad Wahoos.  The Wall Street Journal has described Sabato as “probably the most quoted college professor in the land.” His take on political events has been part of countless WINA newscasts and the hourly CBS newscasts. Charlie Kaye, who’s an executive producer for the radio division of CBS News, says many news organizations have Sabato on their speed-dial lists. This is the last semester when Sabato (pictured) will have a large lecture class, but he will continue to teach courses and run the UVA Center for Politics.
