Nelson County Commonwealth’s Attorney Anthony Martin wants a circuit judge to impose a gag order regarding the Alexis Murphy case. Martin notes Randy Allen Taylor is currently charged with abduction and is to face a jury trial in February. The Nelson prosecutor says he wants to prevent potential witnesses and law-enforcement officials from disclosing sensitive information to the media and public. Martin fears that might hinder the seating of a fair and impartial jury. The motion will be heard in the Nelson County Circuit Court at 9:30 this Wednesday morning.
