A blogger who was hired by the Washington Redskins to defend the team’s name has quit two weeks after he took the job. Ben Tribbett tweeted his resignation this week, saying he didn’t want to be a distraction because of personal attacks directed toward him. Tribbett is a behind the scenes advocate for liberal causes in Virginia.
