Route Changes Begin Soon For CAT Riders

Charlottesville Area Transit is planning an assortment of changes to its daily routes effective Saturday. CAT’s busiest route is number 7, and it will operate every 15 minutes for most of the day every Monday through Saturday. The current schedule for Route 7 sends a bus from downtown to Fashion Square every 20 minutes. CAT is also restoring night bus service to the Pantops area on Route 10. That means nighttime access to the new Martha Jefferson Hospital.
CAT has new riders’ guides which list those changes along with adjustments to Routes 1, 4, 6 and 8.
