Second Victim Of Fiery Crash On I-64 Has Been Identified

We now know the identity of the second victim in this week’s fiery crash on Interstate 64 near Keswick. 59-year-old Paul A. Brant of Lakeland, Florida, was ejected from a car late Wednesday morning and died later that day at UVA Medical Center. The driver of the same vehicle was not injured and another passenger had minor injuries. 70-year-old Vicki L. Shields of Fluvanna County died at the scene after her car was hit by a tractor-trailer and caught fire.
The driver of another vehicle, 24-year-old Kelsey A. Lesslick of Zion Crossroads, was seriously injured. State Police have charged 50-year-old James J. Nagy of Bangor, Pennsylvania, with reckless driving.
