Two people drown in a Chesterfield pool

(CHESTERFIELD – WINA)   A woman and a young boy drowned Sunday afternoon in a pool in Chesterfield County.  The two victims, who are believed to be related, were pulled from the pool at the Chesterfield Village Apartments.

Both were taken to nearby Chippenham Hospital.  The boy was pronounced dead on arrival, and the woman died later in the day.  At this point, foul play is not suspected.
