UVA Student Robbed In McCormick Road Dorm Area

University of Virginia Police say a student was robbed early Saturday near one of the McCormick Road dorms. Police say a suspect struck a male student in the head and stole money from his pocket near Humphreys House (pictured). The victim was treated for minor injuries at the University’s Medical Center. The incident happened around 5:40 a.m. The suspect is described as wearing a grey hoodie. Police are asking anyone with additional information to call 924-7166.
