Observance To Honor VDOT Workers Killed On Job

There will be a vigil in Albemarle County this week to honor transportation employees who have died in highway work zones. Virginia Secretary of Transportation Aubrey Layne will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the VDOT Workers’ Memorial on eastbound Interstate 64.  VDOT is observing National Work Zone Awareness Week.
