UVA Approves Higher Student Tuition And Fees

It will cost more to be a Wahoo in the fall. The University of Virginia will boost the tuition and fees for in-state students by 4.3% for the next academic year. The Board of Visitors has also approved a nearly 6% increase for non-Virginians. Chief Operating Officer Patrick Hogan notes UVA raised the tuition and fees by 3.8% a year ago, and most of Virginia’s other four-year universities had larger increases.┬áThe Board of Visitors approved the higher tuition and fees during a special meeting Wednesday in Abingdon.
