Girl Drowns In Spotsylvania County Lake

A young girl drowned while she was waiting for a Fourth of July fireworks show in Spotsylvania County. The Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office says the body of a seven-year-old girl was found late Friday evening in Lake Wilderness. The lake is part of a recreational area roughly 15 miles west of Fredericksburg.
