CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) — Eminem has never been one to keep a low profile but he was chilling the other night at a time when other celebrities might be trying to grab at least a little of the spotlight.

His daughter, Hailie was named homecoming queen at her high school near Detroit.

The Macomb Daily of Mount Clemens Michigan says the girl’s mother, Kim Scott was introduced with her. Hailie, 17, is a high school senior.

There were reports Emimen was with school officials in the cafeteria so he could see the event, but the school board president said he can’t confirm that.

Eminem’s latest album “The Marshal Mathers LP 2″ is due out next month.

FILE - In this March 5, 2009 file photo, Michael Jackson is shown at a press conference in London. Testimony from AEG Live executive Paul Gongaware on his interactions with Jackson and his negotiations with the singer’s doctor dominated the fifth week of a civil case against the company filed by the superstar’s mother, Katherine. On Tuesday May 28, 2013, Gongaware reluctantly acknowledged that he negotiated the $150,000 per month rate that Jackson’s doctor expected to be paid to serve on the “This Is It” tour.
