CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – A man arrested for a bank robbery in Stafford County is now charged in the July 14th robbery of the UVa Credit Union on Arlington Boulevard across from the Barracks Road Shopping Center. 46-year old John Kenneth Zinno is also charged in a shoplifting incident about a week before at the Fink’s Jewelers at that shopping center,

Zinno was arrested Monday by Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s deputies in association with the Stafford bank robbery earlier that day. He along with two co-conspirators are in custody in the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

Charlottesville Police say the two local cases could not have been successfully solved without the assistance of city residents. Anyone with information on these cases or Zinno is asked to call Detective Jacob Bowlin at (434) 970-3369 or CrimeStoppers Tip Line at (434) 977-4000.
