The nine-year anniversary of a murder in Culpeper County, and they’re still looking for a suspect. Sherri Warner (pictured) of Reva was found shot to death in her home on Route 29 on December 18th, 2005. Culpeper Sheriff Scott Jenkins says they want information about a man who was seen holding the door open and talking to Warner as she left the Belk store in Culpeper that day.

That evening, she was on the phone with her dad when the call was interrupted by a knock on the door from a man who said his car broke down and he wanted to use her phone. Warner hung up and was found dead later in the basement. The house had been set on fire. Sherri Warner had three children ages 13, 10 and 8.
