(CULPEPER – WINA)    Two men were injured when a single-engine plane crashed Saturday afternoon as it was trying to land at Culpeper Regional Airport.  State Police say the pilot, 56-year-old Daniel Allen Haug of Culpeper, was taken to a nearby hospital. His passenger, 74-year-old John Reed Reavis Jr. of Bristow, was flown to a hospital in Northern Virginia.

Authorities say Haug was attempting to land a 1949 two-seater plane when it veered off the runway and overturned.  The incident happened shortly after 1:30 Saturday afternoon.
