The annual rush season for University of Virginia fraternities and sororities is underway, and a recent article in Rolling Stone has not soured young Wahoos on the Greek houses. The Richmond Times-Dispatch is reporting nine more men are rushing the frat houses this year than in January 2014.

It also says 62 more women are rushing UVA sororities than during the start of last year’s spring semester. The UVA frats, including these three houses (pictured) between the Beta Bridge and the Rotunda, are coping with new guidelines for alcohol consumption. A November 19th Rolling Stone article highlighted a female student’s allegations about being assaulted at a 2012 party at a Madison Lane frat house. The magazine has acknowledged the article had major discrepancies.
