Albemarle PD is asking for help in locating a pig roaming free

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Albemarle County Police Department has received several reports of a full-grown black pig on the loose in the area of Owensville Road and Old Ballard Road.

Drivers are advised to use caution in the area as this pig has been spotted on and near the roadways.

The ACPD Animal Protection Unit is working to locate and confine the animal, but it remains at large.

Anyone with information regarding the current location or the owner of the pig, please contact ACPD at 434-977-9041.
