CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Rhodes Trust has announced the University of Virginia’s 57th Rhodes Scholar, the most of any public university in the United States. Fourth-year Chesapeake resident Samuel Thomas Crowe stuides astronomy-physics in the Distinguised Majors Program and history. UVA Today reports he’ll pursue a doctorate in astrophysics and aims “to explore the formation of the most massive starts, over eight times the mass of our sun”.
