CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Saying “we need new leaders who will put people ahead of politics and get real results for every Virginian”, Spotsylvania County Republican State Senator Bryce Reeves has launched a campaign to run next year to run against Virginia senior U.S. Senator, Mark Warner. While there’s no video announcing this run, the message on his campaign website is the same in the campaign kickoff video when he ran for Congress against Democrat Abigail Spanberger in 2021. Reeves’ new campaign website says he has dedicated his career to serving his country and community.
“As a father, former law enforcement officer, community volunteer, and Virginia State Senator, Bryce Reeves is committed to making Virginia a better place.”
Like his 2021 campaign, his new campaign quotes his mom as saying, “Education is not only for earning a living. It’s so you can live, serve, and lead.”
Reeves bio says he “was a cadet at Texas A&M, recognized as the Distinguished Military Graduate. Upon graduation, Bryce was commissioned as an officer in the United States Army. Bryce was the honor graduate of his class at the U.S. Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia. He went on to graduate from the Army’s Ranger School, earning his Ranger tab. Now an Airborne Ranger, Bryce went on to serve as an infantry officer.”
“After the Army, Bryce served as a narcotics detective in Prince William County and saw first-hand the bravery of the people who put their lives on the line to defend us here at home every day.”
Reeves has served as a State Senator since 2012 in the 17th District from his election until 2024, and since 2024 in the 28th. Click here for his new campaign website.
