Man apparently falls to death from Water Street garage

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) –  Charlottesville Police are investigating the death of a man who apparently fell from the Water Street parking garage.

A Charlottesville Police release said officers responded to the 4th Street SE entrance to the garage around 1 Saturday afternoon.

They found a man unresponsive from an apparent fall from the garage.

They identified the man as 45-year old Keagan Carr of Charlottesville.

His remains were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.

CPD urges anyone who may have had recent contact with Mr. Carr or may have information related to this case is to call CrimeStoppers at 434-977-4000.
