UPDATE: Missing Albemarle woman found safe

UPDATE: Ashley Watkins has been found safe.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Albemarle County Police Department is asking for help in finding a missing woman.

ACPD says that Ashley Watkins, 43, was last seen at her home on the 900 block of Quail Ridge Circle in Earlysville early Friday morning.

Watkins is a white woman who stands 5-foot-7 and weighs approximately 280 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police say Watkins may be traveling in a white 2020 Volvo sedan with a Virginia Tech license plate, TZ1768.
