NBC may pull 29News from YouTube over a dispute with the network

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – NBC affiliate NBC29 (WVIR) may be pulled from YouTube TV by Wednesday over a dispute between Google, which runs YouTube, and the network.

According to WVIR, the dispute will affect both channels owned by NBC and the network’s affiliates, which include WVIR.

WVIR will still be available for free on the airwaves. Viewers can also watch WVIR through streaming apps Apple, Android, Roku, Fire and Apple TV.

WVIR states that the station hopes both sides will quickly come to an agreement.
