CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Members of the Senate Finance Committee, including Virginia U.S. Senator Mark Warner, have called on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to resign from his position as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

The group, which includes ten Democrats and one Independent, says Kennedy continues to push his dangerous anti-health and science agenda, lie to Congress, and push disinformation on American families.

The group accuses Kennedy of discarding well-established science, elevating conspiracy theorists, and endangering the lives of all Americans, particularly children, people with disabilities, and vulnerable Americans.

The group’s full statement is found here.
