Two city seniors arrested on drug-related charges on Hardy Drive

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Virginia State Police 3A Drug Task Force arrested two Charlottesville senior citizens on drug charges Wednesday.

David Lloyd Brown, 70, of Charlottesville was arrested on two outstanding charges related to drug distribution. Tina Galeano, 64, also of Charlottesville, was arrested and charged with drug distribution.

Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Hardy Drive in Charlottesville Wednesday morning, leading to a large police presence. The warrant and following arrests were part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

The investigation was initiated in response to multiple community complaints and several reported drug overdose incidents.

The VSP 3A Drug Task force was assisted by the Charlottesville Police Department, Albemarle County Police Department, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office, and Drug Enforcement Administration. distribution.
