This Just In

BTC Videos of the Day – 5/16-20/16

5/16 – starting the week off on a ridiculous cats with lasers note, see above for the new Minor Victories video, about which the band tells Noisey, “we thought we’d just make a video grounded in the reality of what most  people do everyday, and that’s look at videos of cats on the internet.”  Be advised: the cats (and band) use some strong language!  The band includes Slowdive’s Rachel Goswell, Editors’ Justin Lockey, his brother James Lockey, and Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai, plus the Twilight Sad’s James Graham for “Scattered Ashes (Song for Richard)”

5/17 – Isaac Gracie is a new UK discovery for fans of Hozier, Jeff Buckley & maybe even Eddie Vedder…this song was a recent Hottest Record In The World on BBC1

5/18 – recent Corner Free Download artist Lera Lynn has announced a show in Cville 7/23 at The Southern!  Check out her great take on a TV On The Radio classic…Jeff also digs the shirt on the banjo player…Mizzourah!

5/19 – The Shelters have Tom Petty as co-producer on their debut album out 6/10, and from the sounds (and looks) of it, we can hear/see why…by the way, Tom’s own Mudcrutch 2 album is out tmrw (new albums from Clapton, Dylan & Petty out tmrw)!

5/20 – here’s Allen Stone’s latest video…as you can tell from his YouTube/Vevo channel, most of his videos are live performance ones, so you should go see him tonight in a Corner Welcomes show, live at The Jefferson!
