  • Fantastic Negrito–“Plastic Hamburgers”: His new record comes out soon and he’s in DC on May 15th.
  • Amber Mark–“Love Me Right”: Her Conexao EP is out later this year. The New York City musician, songwriter, and producer was raised across Asia and Europe and kicks off her tour in DC on May 6th.

  • Erin Costelo–“Fighter”: From the Canadian artist’s latest self-produced album Down Below, The Status Quo. She’s opened for Bettye Lavette, Mavis Staples, and Dr. John and will be in DC on the 27th and Roanoke on the 28th.
  • Fanny Walked The Earth–“Lured Away”: The legendary band, Fanny, were the first all-woman ensemble to release albums on a major label. The new record includes guest appearances from members of The Bangles, Cherie Currie of The Runaways, and Kathy Valentine of The Go Go’s.
  • Frank Turner–“Blackout”: Frank’s forthcoming 7th album Be More Kind drops on May 4th and he’s at the Jefferson October 1st.

  • SILVERPLANES–“Comeback”: Aaron Smart aka SILVERPLANES is back with a new EP called Bombadier.

  • Yoke Lore–“Fake You”: The stage name of former Walk The Moon band member Adrian Galvin. The New York indie pop act’s forthcoming EP is called Absolutes and he will be in DC on April 12th.
  • Dessa–“5 Out of 6”: Taken from the writer, singer, and rapper’s third album, Chime. She is currently on tour without dates in this area but more dates will be announced soon.
  • Naked Giants–“Everybody Thinks They Know (But No One Really Knows)”: The Seattle trio’s debut album SLUFF was produced by Steve Fisk (Soundgarden, Nirvana), and drops on the 30th.
