Videos of the Day – week of 1/15/18

1/15 – Kendall’s got the new Karen O/Michael Kiwanuka track on The News at Noon today…from the Kenzo brand’s YouTube page: “YO! MY SAINT is a three-pronged artistic endeavor incorporating music, film, and fashion. It’s not just a song, or a film, or clothes. It’s a project, and the culmination of creativity erupting from KENZO’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Linking them altogether is the underlying theme of muses – honoring, celebrating, and re-imagining the instigators and inspirations of creativity.”

1/16 – you may remember the “Shine A Light” song by Banners from a couple years ago…now they’ve got a charming new video out for a song that American Idol’s apparently been using in their promos

1/17 – 106.1 The Corner Welcomes They Might Be Giants tonight at The Jefferson!  They’ll be in the Corner Lounge around 5:45pm for a brief interview & preview of a couple songs from the new album I Like Fun, out Friday.  Then they’ll do a special My Corner Playlist guest DJ set after that!  Here’s their Tiny Desk session from 2011

1/18 – Holly Miranda’s got a new album out 2/23…her new single feat. Kyp Malone of TV On The Radio…this video should probably carry the same warning to epileptics that last week’s Superorganism video had at the beginning.

1/19 – The Wood Brothers have a new album out 2/2 and a show at The Jefferson 1/25.  Here’s one of their new videos!
