10/29 – sister duo Larkin Poe’s new album isn’t out til next Friday, but they are in town at The Southern tonight!

10/30 – The movie Shephers & Butchers got mixed reviews in 2016, but Vusi Mahlasela contributed this Barry Gibb-penned song to the soundtrack.  Vusi will be in the Corner Lounge at 3pm today before his show at The Jefferson Theater.

10/31 – inspired by Jeff’s 4 1/2 year old celebrating Halloween as a dragon, for today’s video it’s Little Dragon’s costumed-filled new one (their EP is out next Friday).  Happy Halloween!

11/1 – Morrissey covers The Pretenders!?  It’s the single from the upcoming special double vinyl deluxe edition of latest effort Low in High School. The re-release, out on December 7th, features four unreleased original tracks, five live cover songs of Morrissey’s favorite artists, and a limited edition lithographed photograph of Morrissey, and a rare version of a photo booth portrait taken when the legendary frontman was a student.

11/2 – “Oberhofer To The Rescue!” seems to be the theme of this fun new video
