1/10 – Happy not-quite-50th birthday to Jeff Sweatman today…here’s the legendary MTV performance from the Singles movie release party in LA circa 1992.  They’re planning a big reissue for the soundtrack later this year!

1/11 – turns out Eddie Vedder sang at President Obama’s farewell speech in Chicago last night, featuring the Chicago Children’s Choir on this Neil Young classic!

1/12 – Alle Farben means “all colors” in German & he was born in Berlin.  Check out his new smash, “Bad Ideas”

1/13 – before her sold-out show in Charlottesville at The Southern tomorrow (hear our Corner Lounge with her at Virginia Arts on-air Monday at 4pm), here’s Maggie Rogers talking about the inspiration behind her song, “Alaska”
