Videos of the Day – week of 3/9/15

3/9 – Seasick Steve is back!  Check out the surf-tastic new video for “Summertime Boy” (above) to kick off this week’s videos…

3/10 – Ane Brun has a new track out today, with an album to follow in the fall.  Check out her dance moves in the video for “Directions”

3/11 – another one of our favorite new BTC tracks is by an interesting project called Songhoy Blues, self-described as “blending the traditional and the modern, the homegrown and the foreign, the youthful and the ancient.”  They are on the Atlantic label in the U.S. and Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs co-produced the album.

3/12 – Josh Rouse pays tribute to Bob Dylan’s appearance on The Johnny Cash Show with his new video…

3/13 – While Brandi Carlile does a sold-out show at The Jefferson tonight, there’s also a good one at The Southern, with the formerly Cville-based Honey Dewdrops.  Check out their great recent Neil Young cover here!
