Videos of the Day – week of 5/19

5/19 – there’s a new Coldplay album out today – did you catch their NBC “Ghost Stories” TV special last night?

5/20 – is “psychedelic country” a genre?  I think it is now, thanks to Sturgill Simpson…it’s like if Waylon Jennings did the soundtrack for “Cosmos!”

5/21 – also digging John Fullbright, who has a new album out next week called Songs.  His debut was one of our favorite BTC albums of a couple years ago (and got him a Grammy nomination)

5/22 – the new Conor Oberst solo album came out this week…here he is performing with Dawes on The Tonight Show the other night

And there’s a new album by The Roots out this week too – very cool Tonight Show performance as well!  They are amazing as the house band for that show, of course…I can’t seem to embed these videos from NBC, sorry #luddite

5/23 – ICYM The Tonight Show “drum-off” last night between Chad Smith & Will Ferrell…?uestlove was actually drumming while Will “drum-synched,” ha!  Watch til the end for some special guests – more cowbell!
