Videos of the Day – week of 6/10/19

6/10 – here’s a rockin’ way to start the week, with the band THICK’s new single

6/11 – as heard tonight on TFR, the new Calexico & Iron & Wine single from their collab album that’s out Friday on Sub Pop.  The video features over 100 paintings Sam Beam did for the album cover art.

6/12 – Tycho has a new album out 7/12 & this new song & video features Hannah Cottrell aka Saint Sinner

6/13 – Lucette is a Canadian artist who worked with Sturgill Simpson & his band on her 2nd record, Deluxe Hotel Room. She says, “To me these songs are a way of getting through to anyone who’s had problems with depression or anxiety or issues with their body and letting them know they’re not the only ones who feel lost sometimes. Making the album helped me realize that my strength doesn’t lie in how a partner or the public sees me—it’s about being open about mistakes I’ve made and things I’ve been through, and then moving forward with hope.”

6/14 – Another Sky is an acclaimed South London quartet, out with their 2nd EP today
