Videos of the Day – week of 7/2/18

7/2 – Iggy Pop has collaborated with UK electronic duo Underworld for a new 4-song EP due out 7/27.

7/3 – Legendary Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr has a new solo album Call The Comet out now.  Here’s the video for the 1st single…

7/4 – last week in celebration of CCR’s 50th anniversary (apparently some special announcements are coming soon #CCR50), an official video for “Fortunate Son” was finally released.  Happy Birthday, America!  Power To The People!

7/5 – A day in the life (on tour) of Sylvan Esso for their new video…I feel like there’s some Jefferson footage in here somewhere from their 2 sold-out shows last fall, whaddya think?

7/6 – Spiritualized has a new album out in Sept.  The album was conceived and recorded almost entirely by one man – Jason Pierce, AKA J.Spaceman – in an upstairs room in his east London home.  Not too shabby for a guy who’s always used the recording studio as an extra bandmate and perviously knew very little about home recording (despite its proliferation in recent years).  You can see where the “Spaceman” thing comes in with their new video…
