Videos of the Day – week of 8/4/14

8/4 – the duo Got A Girl features a movie star & a noted hip-hop producer.  So, as you might imagine, they make a cool combo for a video!  I dig the sound too…

8/5 – ah yes, the summertime is perfect for goofing around & Slaptop provides a good soundtrack with “Sunrise”

8/6 – The North Carolina band The Rosebuds have a new album out this week…check out the “teaser” video feat. Justin Vernon of Bon Iver!

8/7 – the Oklahoma band Stardeath & White Dwarfs put out a new album last week…the singer is the nephew of Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips & there’s definitely a Lips-like trippy vibe to this video…

8/8 – here’s a catchy one for a Friday…the band is Colony House & right after I played them a couple weeks ago on BTC, a listener tweeted to the band & us that their new album is “everything wonderful and right.”
