106.1 The Corner is a different kind of radio station. One major difference is that we actually support and play local and regional bands from Charlottesville and Central Virginia.
We have a weeknightly feature called Live and Local. Mon-Fri at 8pm, where we give you a rundown of some local concerts and play music by local artists. We also feature local music 7 days a week in our Local Artist Spotlights, and on our two hour-long Local Trax show Wednesdays at 10pm.
