Kendall spoke with Kate Monaghan from the Charlottesville Playwrights Collective, on her new play The O’Malley Gambit. It’s a 21st century look back at the meeting and relationship between Ireland’s clan leader Grace O’Malley and England’s Queen Elizabeth in the late 1500s. The show runs October 8th through 17th in the black box theater at the Belmont Arts Collaborative, 221 Carlton Avenue.
