Did you know March is National Reading Month? Charlottesville Radio Group does! To honor the month of reading, this radio family is holding a book drive for The Friends of the Jefferson-Madison Library, a 501c(3) organization, before their Spring book sale. These sales are the principal fundraiser for Friends of the Jefferson-Madison Library which covers a lot of important purposes to help the seven branches of the Library and it’s programs run!

Come to Charlottesville Radio Group at 1140 Rose Hill Drive on Monday, February 27th – Friday, March 17th with your donations. We are open 9am -5pm Monday – Friday. Find the full donation list and more info here.

In addition to covering the basic services and programs for library patrons, a major purpose of the Friends of the Library is to generate additional funding for such things as summer reading programs for children and young adults, providing major grants when new branches are opened (Crozet and Greene), financial support to the Virginia Festival of the Book, and more!
