Great to have Mark Roebuck in the Corner Lounge to play a couple of new songs for us before his cd release party at The Southern 7/9. He also regaled us with his tales of the Cville music scene in the 80s, when he was part of a UVA band that had a brief stint on a major label, The Deal. Oh yeah, and he also co-wrote “The Song That Jane Likes” with Dave Matthews & gave the band $50 for some of their earliest gigs at the old Eastern Standard (now The Whiskey Jar)!
