Inspired by many music genre’s, 100 Proof Band brings an array of local musicians that collectively blend a broad range of music to produce one sound. Funk, R&B, Jazz, Neo Soul combined with the soulful sound of the latin conga brings out a form of DC GoGo that’s sure to capture your music pleasure. With a high octane pace and nonstop music sets, 100 Proof Band satisfies the musical and dancing desires of it’s fans.

Formed in the late Fall of 1987 as a student-run pep band for the Charlottesville High School Basketball Team, Ebony Groove has been performing its own distinct blend of D.C. Go-Go, R&B, Jazz and Hip Hop for enthusiastic audiences all over Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic Region.
