Melissa moved to Charlotteville from the Frozen Tundra of Wisconsin in 2006 to help start up the Corner.   Over the years she’s played a lot of roles at the station, and has enjoyed watching it (and the staff) grow and evolve.  Although she misses the snow, she’s fallen in love with the area and everything that makes living here great.  She and her husband spend their weekends hiking in Shenandoah National Park, kayaking the Rivanna River, training for the Charlottesville 10 miler, taking in lots of live music, and visiting our fantastic wineries and breweries.
